Discovery tours in the north of Dresden
Discover the nature reserves north of Dresden, with rare and protected plant and animal species. The guided tours take us to the Dresden Heide - a vast forest, to the area of a wide open heath "Dresdner Heller" and to the are of Moritzburg .
In the last ice age some 300,000 years ago, high glaciers spread over the area north of Dresden. Today, we can still find the traces of this last major climate change like thick alluvial sands, gravels and moraine hills. Listen to earth's history and climate changes of the past!
